Chloe paints on the floor, with big brushes. She puts forms and colors together to build spaces that tell stories about how people talk to each other. She was introduced to abstract painting by Stephen Ellis at Harvard College in 1998. For the past 8 years, Chloe has pursued painting and civil rights law simultaneously.  She is 33 and lives in Brooklyn with her illustrator husband Marc Scheff, their son Declan, and two big dogs.
